Internet Restriction?
Are the rumors true?  Students have been restricted from such sites as Facebook and Myspace?  While I’m not a huge follower, I do have accounts with them and tend to use them occasionally to pass time.  Social networking sites are overall pretty harmless aren’t they?  So why the restriction?  I can come up with plenty of pointless reasons I’m sure but what about the valid, legit...

What's wrong with Sunday
Some students work forty plus hours a week, plus classes at night. So it goes with out saying that the weekend is catch up time. Saturday is a major day for computer access, quiet place to study, so why not Sunday too? I believe it’s four hours of study for every one hour in class, especially with this 5 week mods. You definitely need to drug test who ever came up with that ideal. Is the...

Usage of Computers in Classroom
I am posing several healthy critisisms that needs action taken by Charter College Administration; 1) I still cannot access my computer during class time i.e. “this computer” only by Charter. 2) I still cannot access the P Drive in order to save my class work to the folder so that the teacher sees that I am actually doing my work & be graded on it. I was asked by the teacher to...

Unprofessionalism at a student government forum
I was at my independence study class and I had a few probloems with networking. My instructor took me to a forum to show me an exampleof Networking. We went to the Symposium room and personally when I walked in and I thought the students that were in there were just waiting to go to another class because of all the laughter and playing and around. Once I got in there I was told what it was and...

DRESS CODE
Change is the only constant thing in life. So accept it. Many students have complained about the new dress code and about how we’re adults and we shouldn’t be told what to wear. Well if you’re such an adult then act like it and stop whining about a simple dress code. College’s are meant to prepare us for the professional world, charter college just went a step further in...

Dress Code
I attend class half time to accomodate my work schedule. I work until midnight, sometimes 1am. My morning classes require copious amounts of caffeine to keep me focused. I have always dressed presentably in nice jeans, nice shirts, and nice shoes. The theory of a dress code is beyond ridiculous for people my age and older. Not to mention that numerous mistakes have been made with my schedule,...

Or worse, I am now an hourly employee except I pay them. And it’s a flat fee rather than by the hour. If I am now hourly and tracked by the hour, I should be paying by the hour as well.
